Welcome
to my
website.
If you found my landing page it’s probably because you’re an executive in an organization and you’re interested in empowering your leadership team.
I love working on projects that focus on helping organizations grow and achieve their best version. This can only be achieved by having the right people in the right positions.
If you’re reaching out to me, it’s because the project is challenging, you need to achieve a cultural transformation, or need to find that very senior and complex profile that’s hard to come by in the market.
My purpose is is to help individuals
and organizations achieve their best version.
THIS IS ME
I was born in the United States, where I completed both primary and secondary school. I later did a summer semester at a university to experience “college life,” and then moved to Argentina. It was the beginning of President Alfonsín’s administration; optimism and a sense of happiness were in the air.
I studied Computer Science at Universidad de Belgrano, although I never worked in Technology per se, except for a few years when I focused on building websites. These were the first personal and professional landing pages, about twenty years ago.
Once immersed in university life, I began teaching English in companies. It was a natural career path for me, and I quickly realized the business opportunity behind it. Soon after, I started my own language training company (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) and computer skills training (Microsoft Office) for executives. At the time, this was a rapidly growing tool, and the business did extremely well. President Menem’s administration had just begun, and the streets of Buenos Aires were filled with expatriates who arrived due to privatizations and foreign investment.
This worked wonderfully for several years, since my instructors’ target profile was also expatriates who came to Argentina to gain Latin American experience. They typically studied and worked for about a year and then traveled across Latin America with their savings.
All of this came to an end in 2001, as Argentina was no longer a profitable destination for expatriates due to economic turmoil. That was the moment to reinvent myself. I focused on training and acquiring skills to build websites. It was a lot of fun, but I felt something was missing.
Through someone who is now our Controller at the consulting firm, I was introduced to Korn Ferry. There, I taught English and helped with translations. I loved the industry and decided that this was what I wanted to do for the coming years. I became determined to grow within the firm. I took on all kinds of back-office tasks and was willing to temporarily step down in seniority, betting on long-term growth. This allowed me to truly learn the business.
During a downsizing phase in 2009, a group of us left and founded Bäcker Advisory, now Bäcker & Partners. I started in research and later led search processes. Today, I am Managing Partner Argentina. As a result, I can truly speak about career transformations and everything they involve, I lived it firsthand, deeply and intensely.
Being a Partner means taking responsibility for a business unit, navigating the market, interacting with clients, leading processes, caring about both client and candidate experience, promoting the firm’s and its Partners’ brand, constantly challenging myself to anticipate market needs and trends, maintaining an open dialogue with the market, and cultivating a humble, continuous-learning mindset.
I also lead a Vistage group as Chair, the first of its kind in Latin America, dedicated exclusively to women executives, in line with my own need for continuous growth and development.
In addition, I am President of FAME (Foro Argentino de Mujeres Ejecutivas) and a member of the Council of the Americas of AESC (the association that promotes best practices in executive search and HR consulting worldwide).
I strongly believe that our professional development gives us capabilities that we can later reinvent and repurpose. For example, in my twenties I interacted with Human Resources executives to design executive training programs. Today, I also work with HR leaders, but now to build career plans, development initiatives, coaching processes, and executive searches. It is remarkable how our early experiences become our training ground and later amplify our potential. What matters is being able to identify those capabilities and build on them, while also recognizing and accepting our gaps and actively working to fill them.
If any of this resonates with you, I hope we can connect and perhaps even work together in the future.
As a major personal milestone, I have just written my first book: No es suerte, es estrategia (It’s Not Luck, It’s Strategy). It is available in bookstores and in Kindle format on Amazon.

VISTAGE
Vistage is the world’s leading organization in organizational coaching for executives and peer advisory. It offers an effective approach to achieving better results and growing businesses.
PURPOSE
My purpose is to help individuals and organizations achieve excellent results. I deeply believe in continuous learning and that we are constantly evolving. If you enjoy working, you can perform well until at least the age of 80. That means you’ll have to undergo transformations throughout your career. There’s nothing worse than an individual who feels they’ve ‘done it all’ or has nothing new to learn. The world is full of opportunities, and it’s up to each of us to prepare ourselves, take risks and then take the leap. I am passionate about helping people achieve these transformations.
I actively participate in many spaces dedicated to empowering women’s careers in organizations. That’s why I decided to join Vistage in 2022 as a Chair and create the first group dedicated solely to women in C Suite. Today, it consists of 14 members, all in positions reporting to a local CEO/business owner or holding regional positions reporting internationally. It’s a challenge for women to balance their careers and family lives. I can speak from personal experience, as I had to juggle many years while my children were young. Nowadays, I try to help female executives find a way to develop their careers while maintaining a balance that makes them feel good.
In executive search processes, I have often found that women are the first to limit themselves when considering changes involving growth and high dedication. I believe this has much to do with unconscious biases, so I dedicate a lot of time to having deep conversations that help female executives rethink their purpose. Sometimes, without realizing it, we are the ones who self-limit due to the preconceptions we hold. Of course, the final decision of what makes each individual feel good is very personal and respectable. However, deeply thinking about what we really want to do is not always so obvious. Decisions need to be made with a lot of information and based on what we truly feel will benefit us.
